Returns and Exchange Policy

1. Exchanges Only for Regular-Priced Items

CNES Shoemaker does not offer refunds.

We offer size exchanges only for regular-priced, ready-to-wear shoes, subject to the conditions below.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • CNES Shoemaker will cover the shipping cost for the replacement pair sent back to the customer (one-time exchange only).


2. Eligibility for Exchange

To qualify for an exchange, shoes must:

  • Be unworn, in original condition

  • Be tried on indoors only, on carpet, with minimal movement

  • Show no signs of wear, creasing, scuffing, or sole marks

  • Be returned with original box, packaging, and accessories intact

Shoes returned with damaged packaging, missing components, or any signs of use and damage on the leather upper will not be eligible for exchange.


3. Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges:

  • Sale, discounted, odd-size, archive, or final-sale items

  • Made-To-Order (MTO) and Group MTO shoes

  • Shoes modified with Vibram rubber half soles, toe taps, and/or heel taps

  • Any shoes that have been altered or customised after purchase


4. Made-To-Order (MTO) Disclaimer

All MTO shoes are crafted specifically for the customer and are therefore final and non-refundable.

  • Delivery timelines for MTO shoes are estimates, not guarantees.

  • Refunds will only be issued if CNES Shoemaker is unable to fulfil the order.

  • Deposits, vouchers, pre-order fees, and reservation fees are non-refundable.


5. Sizing Disclaimer

Footwear sizing is highly personal and dynamic.

Two individuals with the same foot length may prefer different sizes due to factors such as:

  • Foot width and volume

  • Sock thickness

  • Preferred fit (snug vs relaxed)

  • Use of insoles or fitting aids

  • Personal comfort expectations

While CNES Shoemaker is happy to provide professional sizing recommendations, final size selection remains the customer’s responsibility.


6. Limitation of Liability on Sizing

Sizing recommendations are provided in good faith based on the information shared by the customer.

CNES Shoemaker cannot be held liable for incorrect sizing due to:

  • Individual fit preferences

  • Foot shape or biomechanics

  • Incomplete or inaccurate sizing information provided by the customer

  • Changes in comfort expectations over time


7. Return Process

  • All return shipments must be trackable.

  • CNES Shoemaker is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Once your return is received, it will be inspected. CNES Shoemaker reserves the right to reject exchanges that do not meet the above conditions.
